1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yardstiq ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and Makers.

2. Description of Service

Yardstiq is an AI tool discovery and comparison platform. We allow users to search for, rate, and compare AI-powered software tools. We allow Makers to list and promote their tools. We do not sell or endorse any specific tool; rankings are based on community data and algorithmic relevance.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Maker Listings

If you list a tool as a Maker, you agree that:

  • You have the right to promote and represent the listed tool.
  • All information submitted (descriptions, pricing, features) is accurate and not misleading.
  • You will not submit tools that are illegal, harmful, or in violation of third-party rights.
  • Yardstiq may review, approve, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion.
  • Paid promotional features (e.g., Free Trial Badge, Featured Carousel) are non-refundable once activated.

5. User-Generated Content

By submitting ratings, reviews, or comments, you grant Yardstiq a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and use that content on the Platform. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must not post:

  • False, misleading, or defamatory statements.
  • Spam, promotional content unrelated to a genuine review.
  • Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or illegal content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines.

6. Payments & Refunds

Payments for promotional features are processed securely by Stripe. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at info@drifterappsinc.com.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and code on Yardstiq are the intellectual property of Yardstiq or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of tool listings, ratings, or search results. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information found on Yardstiq.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yardstiq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
